Jack Black, born Thomas Jacob Black on August 28, 1969, is an American actor, voice actor, comic, singer, musician, songwriter, and YouTube persona. Jack is the lead vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning comedic rock duo Tenacious D, which he fashioned in 1994 with Kyle Gass. He’s recognized for his roles in movies corresponding to Excessive Constancy (2000), Shallow Hal (2001), Faculty of Rock (2003), King Kong (2005), Tenacious D within the Decide of Future (2006), The Vacation (2006), the Kung Fu Panda franchise (2008–2016), Tropic Thunder (2008), Gulliver’s Travels (2010), Bernie (2011), Goosebumps (2015), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and its sequel, Jumanji: The Subsequent Degree (2019). Jack earned Golden Globe nominations for his work in Faculty of Rock and Bernie. In 2018, he was inducted into the Hollywood Stroll of Fame. In December 2018, he launched his YouTube channel, Jablinski Video games, which has 4.5 million subscribers. Jack married his highschool sweetheart, Tanya Haden in 2006 in California. They’ve two sons collectively, Samuel Jason (born in 2006) and Thomas David (born in 2008).
